B2B Massage: What Body to Body Actually Means

B2B appears on a large share of London massage listings and gets read as something more exotic than it is. It stands for body to body, and that is the entire meaning.

What it is

Instead of using only her hands, she uses her whole body: forearms, chest, stomach, thighs, sliding over you with oil. You are both undressed and both covered in it.

That is the technique. It is not a category of service, not a euphemism for anything more specific, and not an indication of what else is on offer. Browse the body to body listings.

B2B against nuru

These are constantly used interchangeably and they are not the same:

  • B2B: full body contact with oil, usually on a table or a bed. Widely offered because it needs oil and nothing else.
  • Nuru: full body contact with nori gel, on a waterproof mat, in a room set up for it. Far less widely offered because of everything in that sentence.

Nuru is the more slippery and the more specific. B2B is the everyday version, and for most people the difference in experience is smaller than the difference in price and availability.

If a listing offers nuru at b2b prices, it is almost certainly oil on a table described optimistically.

What it costs

Commonly £30 to £60 as an extra on a standard booking, which puts a central London hour at roughly £280 to £400 all in. As a standalone massage-led booking, £150 to £250.

It is one of the cheaper additions on any listing, largely because it costs the provider nothing but oil.

Practical notes

  • Shower first, and expect to shower after. Oil goes everywhere, which is the nature of it.
  • Say if you have sensitive skin. Most use a standard massage oil; some will switch if asked.
  • Outcall is fine. Unlike nuru, this needs no mat and no special room, so a hotel works. Put a towel down.
  • Sixty minutes is enough. This is not a technique that needs ninety the way the tantric styles do.

Where it sits among the rest

B2B is the middle of the massage market: more than a hand massage, less specialised than lingam or nuru, cheap enough to add to almost any booking. It is the sensible first choice if you have not booked a massage before and want to find out whether the style suits you.

It is offered right across the incall belt, with Bayswater as dense as anywhere for it.

The short version

Body to body, with oil, usually on a table. Cheap, widely available, and not the same as nuru whatever a listing implies. There is a third version of the same idea, done with soap and water rather than oil or gel: soapy massage, which is thinner on the ground here than the name suggests.

Compare all the styles in which London massage is which, or read four hands if you want two people doing it.
